Who can apply?

Tuition is free to Camden County residents, and bus transportation is provided by the local school districts.  Eighth graders may apply for ninth grade admission to Camden County Technical Schools (CCTS).  High school freshmen wishing to transfer and students attending another Technical School may also apply.

CCTS caters to all academic abilities from those with special needs, to students taking Advanced Placement college-level courses.  Professionals from the work force who serve on our advisory committees often remark how well prepared our students are as they intern or are employed, and our various partners in higher education never fail to mention how well prepared our graduates are for college.

See Application link under the main "Admissions" page and apply on-line!

Eligibility for entrance into Camden County Technical Schools (CCTS) is based on program availability, and after the Admissions Team reviews the applicant’s standardized test scores; results of the CCTS Placement Test; attendance records; 7th and 8th grade report cards; 9th grade report card if applying to 10th grade; essays and letters of recommendation if applicable; audition results if applying for the Music Academy or the Performing Arts Academy, and review of other documents/information provided by the applicant’s current school district and/or parents or guardians.

Eighth Grade Career Exploration
Counselors, Principals and Eighth grade teachers are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office to schedule a group of between 10 and 40 eighth graders to visit the Gloucester Township Campus for one school day, or the Pennsauken Campus for a half day. Large school districts may schedule as many days as needed to accommodate their students.

Please contact Shruti Patel at 856-767-7000, X 4420 to make arrangements. Transportation will be provided by CCTS. While at CCTS, interested students will receive an overview of more than 30 career options and tour the campus.

Visiting/Touring
During the school year, three events are held in the evening to accommodate parents and potential students wishing to tour CCTS. A Parent's Night is held in October; an Open House is held the second Wednesday of February, and an Information Night is held in April. Please check our calendar for specific dates and time.

Parents are also welcome to call to schedule a tour of either campus during the school year. Parents and potential students interested in a personal tour during the school day and/or interested in meeting with the Admissions Officer are asked to call 856-767-7000 x 4420 or email [email protected]
