Camden County Technical Schools
PATRICIA E. FITZGERALD
Welcome to Camden County Technical Schools (CCTS)! Our schools have been providing educational/career training services to residences of Camden County since 1928.
High school students who live in Camden County and attend CCTS are provided with the academic rigor they need for college and the career skills they need for employment at no cost. Graduates of CCTS pursue college degrees, enter the workforce, join the military, or become entrepreneurs.
Thanks to agreements with colleges, such as Camden County College, eligible high school students are given the opportunity to earn college credits while attending CCTS. Thanks to the support of the Camden County Board of Freeholders and our board of education, our students gain benefits from our county-wide shared services.
Students who have positive attitudes and demonstrate a strong work ethic are bound to be successful in school and in life. Employers who serve on our business and industry advisory councils consistently tell us that they seek employees who come to work on time every day and who maintain positive attitudes throughout each day. To help prepare our students for this, our schools encourage students to maintain excellent attendance records, come to school every day on time, and demonstrate respectful, positive behavior towards each other, staff members, and their school environment.
Parents/guardians of CCTS students are encouraged to play an active role in their teenager's high school life by viewing his/her grades, attendance, and other important information via the Parent Portal located on our school district's website. Parents who need access codes may contact the guidance office. Parents are also invited to join and attend committees that meet a few times during each school year. These committees seek input from parents regarding programs and procedures that impact all students. For more information regarding these committees, parents may contact the principal.
Achievement of our students is our highest priority at CCTS and I am very proud to serve as their superintendent.
